WPR weekly deets: January 1

Some Words from the Management

We're starting a new year in perfect WPR form. Whether you're trying to forge new habits for 2020 or are running straight through from 2019, we've got you covered. Check out details below for a bonus morning run, as is our WPR tradition. We'll have our usual Wednesday night run, too, so you have two chances to run with us this week!

This week's evening run ends at Pasqually's (43rd and Walnut)

New Years Day Morning 5K - Wednesday January 1 @10am

It's a new year and tradition has it that we get out in the morning and get the year started right. We'll gather at 10am at 45th and Locust, do a little loop and end at Local 44 for a celebratory drink if you so choose.

Good opportunity to chase away your NYE hangover.

WPR Interval Training - Mondays at 5:30pm

Whether your training plan is calling for it or you just want to add a little variety to your running, WPR has you covered for your interval training needs down. We meet up at Penn Park every week at 5:30pm at the bike racks south of the western soccer field (if someone has a better way of describing that location then let me know...).

The standard workout is 3-5x 1000m with 400m recovery between sets and the group is very good at explaining that workout to new folks who come out... so come out!
