Welcome to the cold months. Fortunately, we're here to keep you company through it all. Many of you are experienced running year-round, but for those of you trying to stretch your running season through the winter for the first time, it's really all about layers. I think this clothing guide from Runner's World is really perfect. Long run on a windy/drizzly 40 degree night? Better throw on a hat and light gloves, a light jacket, a long sleeve shirt, and some tights and you'll feel cozy.
This week is our pre-Thanksgiving run, which has classicaly been a smaller group. If we are very few in number, we will redirect our post-run destination and reconnect with our roots at Fiume after the run.
