Broad Street Run and Other Info

Last night's BBQ was a huge success. Thanks to all who came out! We had 12 runners and about 3 times as many post-run revelers! We successfully ate a bunch of burgers and dawgs, made WPR shirts (thank you so much Julia for making the stencils and bringing the supplies!), and didn't get any noise violations. So, it's safe to say that we'll definitely be doing it again!

This Sunday is the Broad Street Run! I wanted to remind you all that we will be teaming up with TerraMar to have a cheering section for runners (check out the post). Again, we'll all (runners and cheer squad) be heading to Triumph Brewery in Old City for celebratory drinks afterwards.

Important Info for Broad Street Run Runners:

You have to get your race bib down at the Lincoln Financial Field - super annoying, I know!

You can head down on Friday from from 10am-5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm

1. I recommend you find your race bib number form the email and bring that with you.

2. The folks organizing this mess are trying to stagger the bib pick-ups on Saturday by Last Name so I guess try to get there at the designated times (though I doubt very much that it won't just be complete mayhem):

G-M: 8:00am- 9:00am

N-Z: 9:00am- 10:00am

A-F: 10:00am- 11:00am

11:00am-1:00pm: try to avoid, major traffic delays due to Phillies game

A-Z: 1:00pm-5:00pm

I personally will be riding my bike down to this expo so I can leave my bike down at the race finish line and bike home after the race on Sunday. Just a suggestion...
