WPR hit the trails once again this past Saturday in West Fairmount Park with the F.P. Conservancy. We'll be out there again real soon. A few words about this week's run Scrappy kids from Philly are kicking major ass in the Little League World Series! We'd like to throw our support behind them and it just so happens that their next game is on right after the run on Wednesday. Paul had the clever idea of planning this week's routes past some local baseball/softball fields. Afterwards, we'll also ask the kind folks at Pasqually's to throw the game on while we invade the bar. Should be a good time! Don't miss it. Upcoming Run Sport Events WPR is turning 200 runs old on September 3rd. Devoted runners that we are, we've never skipped a week since that first run on November 3, 2010, despite the cold, the heat, the storms, and the holidays. Come run and celebrate with us! The 4th Annual Cobbs Creek 5K, the year's best 5K, is coming up on September 20th. Registration is open so get up on it. Registration is free for kids under 18 if they have a group of 5 or more. If you know any youth groups that we should promote the event to, please let me know.
