WPR Independence Day 11am Run & After-Party!

There's really nothing I like better than when we get together at a runner's place after our weekly run! It reminds me how welcoming and awesome our runners are. This week our run corresponds falls on the 4th of July. Besides being really cool, it gives us an opportunity to shake things up a bit. Everyone has the day off and we want to leave plenty of time to celebrate our independence day, so we are going to move our usual run time to 11am.

After our run, we'll gather at Flint's place at 506 S. Melville to recognize our glorious independence with food and drink! Flint will be providing beers and foods, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you brought stuff. If you want to bring anything and want to coordinate dropping it off before the run, let me know (alon.abramson[at]gmail.com).

Upcoming:

Challenge the Fishtown Beer Runners. Thursday July 5th. West Philly Runners will be heading to Fishtown to run with the original beer runners and formally challenge them to the 26 x 1 mile relay challenge. The run ends up at Bierstube at 2nd and Market so we can easily take the El back west. The run starts at 2346 E. Susquehanna Ave at 7:00 PM. You can get there by taking the MFL to the Berks station and walking about 2 blocks (directions). Remember to wear your WPR shirt if you have one.
