We're going to beat the heat this week by running through and splashing around in the nearby SPRAYGROUND (Spraygrounds are safe and unique play areas where water is sprayed from mounted structures and geysers)! Aaaand, Arwin, one of the original WPRs (also my girlfriend) is defending her PhD on Tuesday so we'll be celebrating her victory with lots of drinks! We'll be gathering at the Local 44 Bottle Shop after the run so come meet us there and congratulate Arwin if you can't make the run.

WPR 26 x 1mile Relay Challenge - Saturday July 28th. It's officially summer and this event is right around the corner. We'll have 2+ teams racing to see who can run the fastest team marathon! West Philly Runners and Monster Milers have full teams. There's still time to get another team signed up so reach out to your running friends and sign up!
