Back to City Tap House

This coming Wednesday we return to City Tap House for our post-run hydration/imbibing session. We will still meet at 45th and Locust so I'll see you all out there as usual.

If you are like me and are finding it hard to motivate yourself to go running in this soul-melting heat, you should consider hitting up one of the local community pools. Though it's a little bit out of the way, Kelly Pool in West Fairmount Park (located right next to the Please Tough Museum) is free, 25 yards long and has open lane swimming weekdays 1-6:30 and weekends 1-5:30! It's also got the benefit of being in the park, which is probably the best place to run when it's hot anyway. So, you can do your run and then go for a refreshing dip. Just please wear goggles, because Philly's pools tend to be chlorinated to a level that kills both microorganisms and sensitive human tissue.
