Looks like real good Philly summer weather for our crew again this week. The good news is we've got Clarkville reserved for our hangout after the run to help us cool off.

Run starts at Clark Park (44th and Baltimore) and ends at Clarkville (43rd and Baltimore).

Upcoming Run Events

Mayor's Cup - August 12

This is the second-best team race in Philadelphia (after the 26x1 of course). You can register to run the 5K, 10K, or half-marathon trail race or the 5M or 10M road race. All races are timed to end at about the same time so teams then have time to hang out and party on Belmont Plateau. It's a super fun event and you should definitely sign up!

Woodlands Runner Happy Hours - August 16

Join members of The Woodlands and the West Philly Runners for an outdoor happy hour. We are excited to meet the growing community of runners at The Woodlands and celebrate The Woodlands as the best place for walks and runs in the neighborhood. Runner’s Happy Hour is an opportunity to become a Runner Member of The Woodlands.

Assuming this event will be the same as previous years, it's free for active members of The
$10 Suggested Donation for non-members.

The Philly 10K - August 27

Now in year 10, The Philly 10K holds a special place to the tens of thousands of runners who have raced through South Philly and Center City since that inaugural day in September 2014. From the amazing start line atmosphere to the intimacy of the neighborhood course, to the complimentary beer and live music at the finish, The Philly 10K is a one-of-a-kind racing experience in Philadelphia.

Registration for the 10th anniversary of The Philly 10k is open. Spots are limited.

Philly Distance Run - September 17

PDR is among the fastest Half Marathons in the world (6 world records have been broken here) and is known for its super fast and flat course. Whether you are an elite runner, looking for a new PR, or just want to breeze through the City of Brotherly Love with thousands of fellow runners, there is something for everyone at PDR!
