Some Words from the Management

Congrats to all the Broad Street runners who made it through the rainy 10 miles! There are a lot of fun races coming up (more info below), including the 26x1 Marathon Relay. Our two teams are full but if you're interested in running, there are a few teams still looking for runners so you can connect with them.  I'm looking for help setting up on the morning of the 26x1 (starting at 6am on 5/13). Please let me know if you're available! Run starts at Clark Park (44th and Baltimore) and ends at Gojjo (46th and Baltimore).

Upcoming Run Events

The West Philly Runners 26 x 1 Mile Marathon Relay - May 13 8am Marathons are hard. You know what's easier? Running a marathon on a team of 13 runners where you each run a single mile, take a nice relaxing beer break, and then go run one more for good measure. This year will be the 8th Annual 26 x 1 Mile Marathon Relay and it's back on our home turf, at The Woodlands. We have 25 teams registered and expect more than 200 runners to join us for a fun morning. The West Philly Runners teams are full but you can join one of the other teams!

Run Wild for the Zoo 5K - May 7 at 8am Join hundreds of runners and walkers for the Run Wild for the Zoo 5K and one-mile Fun Run/Walk at Philadelphia Zoo! The 2023 Run Wild for the Zoo 5K and one-mile Fun Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, May 7 at 8 a.m. on the Zoo’s unique 42-acre campus in West Philadelphia. This event provides a fun and healthy opportunity for hundreds of local supporters to rally behind Philadelphia Zoo. Race proceeds will support the more than 1,900 animals in our care, many of which are rare and endangered, by providing funds for nutrition, habitat enhancements, medical care, enrichment activities, and more. PAS 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run - June 4 at 8:30am Join the 11th Annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run in support of STEAM education at Penn Alexander School (PAS) on Sunday, June 4, 2023. 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 9:30 a.m.

The Philly 10K - August 27 Now in year 10, The Philly 10K holds a special place to the tens of thousands of runners who have raced through South Philly and Center City since that inaugural day in September 2014.
