WPR e-jawn: December 27th

Some Words from the Management

You may have heard the news. It's cold outside. Kyle wants you to know that there's no such thing as bad running weather, only bad running clothing. Running outside when it's cold is no problem if you layer appropriately with a wicking (no cotton!) base layer to keep you dry if you happen to get too hot and sweat a bit. Throw a hat, gloves, and possibly something to cover your mouth and nose and you're good even when temperatures drop well below freezing.

At the risk of sounding like I'm on their payrolls (I'm not), our friends at Philadelphia Runner have all of the stuff you may need and have a 10% discount for WPR members. Don't let a little cold get in the way of your running.

This week's run ends at Pasqually's!

Upcoming Sports Jawns

Chilly Cheeks 11K Trail Race - Sunday, January 7th

It's been a while since WPR went on the road for a good ole fashioned middle of the winter trail race. Let's get a couple of cars together and head out to Reading, PA and take on 7 hilly miles on Mt. Penn. This is a great race with some amazing humans and you won't want to miss it. We'll get some carpooling together as we get closer to the race.

Run Fest - Sunday, June 3rd

You may have heard of Run Fest or maybe you know it by its old name ODDyssey Half Marathon. Either way, you should know that it's fricken awesome and that you need to get your ass on our team. We are currently leading with largest team...probably because it's December and the race is in June. But regardless! We're super hype! We want you there! There will be costumes! There will be lotsa fun running! And there will be a beer garden with a party tent at the end!

Run Ends at Pasqually's
43rd and Walnut

6 Miler
