Winter is definitely coming, but this week it's going to be a balmy 40 degrees during our run. So celebrate the "warm" weather, put on some tights and make your way down for a brisk 2/4/6 mile run with us. We also accept WPR as an excuse for eating cookies and indulging at holiday parties, because balance.

Upcoming Awesomeness

SBS & FBR Holiday Lights Run - Thurs Dec 15th at 7pm

It is the time of year again when the South Philly Striders and Fishtown Beer Runners (and some intrepid West Philly Runners) run the streets of South Philly to enjoy the holiday lights. The run starts Thursday December 15th at 7 pm from Toll Man Joe’s (26 East Oregon Avenue). The run also ends at Toll Man Joe's. Drink and food specials will be posted soon.

As is tradition, we are having a food drive to benefit PhilAbundance. Please bring canned and other non-perishable food to Toll Man Joe's. More details are available on the Facebook event page.

WPR Happy Hour at Philadelphia Runner - Friday Dec 16th 5-7 PM

West Philly Runners won the biggest team award for the Generation Run back in June and our reward is a free happy hour for ALL of our runners, whether you were at the race or not. Please join us at the West Philly Philadelphia Runner store on Friday to celebrate our awesome running group and kick off the weekend with Yards brews.
