Some words about this week's run

We'll head for a run along the river tomorrow in hopes of finding some respite from the heat and humidity, but if/when all else fails we'll return to West Philly and bask in Pasqually's AC and drink all the cold beers.

Upcoming Events of Sport

Pope Run - Saturday September 26th This event is still very much in the works and will depend on the final positioning of the guard towers and lava flows so stay tuned as things develop.

Mayor's Cup - Saturday August 8 The first annual Mayor's Cup is on and there's still time to sign up. We don't have a WPR team this year, because I was too busy to make it happen, but you can get involved in one of the many awesome teams/clubs that are competing. You can also sign up to volunteer.

Mayor's Cup Preview Run and Trail Cleanup- Sunday August 2nd The Mayor's Cup is taking place at one of Philly's most amazing running locations - the Belmont Plateau. If you plan to run or if you just want to learn your way around the trails, there's a great opportunity to do so with the Chasing Trail Running Group. Following the run is a trail cleanup - be sure to RSVP at the links above so they have a count for supplies.
