WPR Sportscast for Wednesday November 5th

A few words about this week's run

November has already brought some painful weather our way (just ask anyone who ran the NYC Marathon on Sunday, like our very own Paul and Regan). Fortunately, November weather tends to flip-flop faster than a dirty politician, and we're in for a beautiful evening tonight for our run to Pasqually's. See you out there!
And make sure to check out the great events coming up on Saturday and next Tuesday!

Upcoming run sports

Belmont Plateau Trail Run Series - Saturday Nov. 8, 9am

I'm leading this upcoming trail run in West Fairmount Park this Saturday! We'll take a leisurely run (with 3 and 6 mile options) through the amazingly beautiful trail network in the park. The event is free for Conservancy members and $10 for non-members. Consider joining the FPC to help them conserve, maintain, and promote the use of our glorious park system.

Beat the Bus - Tuesday Nov. 11, 6:00pm (start at Penn's Landing)

We all know that running is good exercise, but we believe it can also be a faster way to get across town and we're out to prove it with the Beat the Bus Run. Join us as we race the SEPTA 21 bus from Penn's Landing (Front and Market) to Pasqually's Pizza (43rd and Walnut). (here's the route: http://www.septa.org/schedules/bus/pdf/021.pdf)
