WPR Sportscast for August 7th

Hey runners, Wednesday is upon us and it's going to be a nice, unseasonably mild night for a run. We'll be kicking back at Local 44 Bottle Shop afterwards.

Stuff to Check Out:

Philadelphia Runner has a bunch of cool events coming up in the next month or so including a cross-training runs, a run with Young Involved Philly, Urban Scramble, and "Gear and Beer," which is aimed a gearing up runners for their first races.

Thursday August 28 8pm Happy Hour at Llama Tooth to Benefit the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation's (DTRF) Running for Answers 5K. You can get discounted registration for the race on 9/29 and hang out with some runners from other groups!
