Sweat It Out

Turns out nature is patriotic, sending this brutal heatwave our way to help start off the 'summer season' right on Memorial Day weekend. I hope you all had a great long weekend full of food and friends and family. I'm not sure if I need to mention it, but if you're hitting the roads for some runs on these hot days, please, please try to avoid running during the peak mid-day heat! I saw folks out running at 2pm yesterday and it took all my willpower not to stop and yell at them. The heat is dangerous, so be smart about when you choose to run.

Thanks for those who made it out last week for our run and BBQ. It was great fun as always. Again, there are some great events coming up - check out the event calendar to see what's on the horizon. New to the line-up is the Wissahickon Trail Classic, a trail 10K happening this Saturday, June 4th (sorry for the short notice, but I just heard about it today). Event details here.

This week's routes:

2 Miler

4 Miler
